Hello Model Services

What’s new

New guides, lessons and features, newest first. Follow along in a feed reader with the RSS feed. Have an idea for what to add next? Tell us.

  1. A home page you can try, two new guides and a sample audit

    • On the home page, the example plan beside the box turns into your plan as you type: the kind of model, the approach, the cost, the time and the first steps. Press it to create the plan. On a phone, the line under the box grows into a small plan instead.
    • Try the parts of a plan right on the home page: pick a step, switch the code between three kinds of model, see how the cost changes with the size of your project or a GPU, pick a part of the system to see what it does, and tick off the checklist.
    • Not sure which of the 10 kinds of model fits? Pick the data you have, like photos or tables, and the kinds that work with it are marked. “Plan one like this” on any of them starts a plan of that kind.
    • With high contrast on, the colors in code are darker, so they’re easier to read.
    • A lesson in 30 seconds on the home page: move a spam filter’s line and see which mistakes it makes. Every model makes some, and you choose which ones.
    • In How it works, pick a step to see it in the demo. On phones the three steps are tabs, so the section is shorter.
    • A new guide: build a support chatbot from your help center that answers from your articles, links the one it used, and hands over to a person when they don’t cover the question.
    • Another new guide: sort product photos into categories with a small image model, and file only the photos it’s sure about.
    • See what the AI infrastructure audit gives you in a sample report for a made-up company: a scorecard, eight findings with the fix for each, and a roadmap.
    • On phones, “What you get” and the 10 kinds of model on the home page are rows you swipe sideways, so the page is much shorter.
    • The home page shows the learning path as a route of its six stages. Come back after a few lessons and the stages you’ve finished are filled in, with the next one marked.
    • The drawings for the 10 kinds of model draw themselves as you scroll to them, and again when you point at one.
  2. Compare model types, and a tab bar on phones

    • Compare two model types side by side: what each does, the data and labels it needs, how it’s measured and how to start.
    • On phones, a tab bar at the bottom takes you to Create, My plans, Learn and Search in one tap.
    • The sidebar now links every page, including the example plan, Which model do I need?, the quiz and this page.
    • The starter kits page now shows what every kit includes, compares a free guide with a kit, and answers the common questions in one place.
    • Glossary terms that have their own page now preview it: hover or tap one to see its drawing and definition, then click or tap again to read the full explanation.
    • This page, so you can see what’s changed since your last visit. Follow it in a feed reader with the RSS feed.
    • A fresh home page: a finished example plan beside the box, so you can see what you’ll get before you type, and a question for each kind of model, like “Will this customer cancel next month?”, so you can spot yours.
    • Services for teams: take your AI prototype to production on Azure, with four fixed-price packages, starting with a one-week audit.
  3. A new home page, and plans that are easier to follow

    • A clearer home page: a live demo that builds a real plan, “Start from your data” ideas, answers to the questions people ask first, and a quick-start bar as you scroll.
    • Plans show a timeline of your progress, steps you can tick off, and the matching guide and starter kit for your project. Every model type now has detailed, step-by-step instructions.
    • Two new guides: your first model in Google Colab and predicting customer lifetime value.
    • The guides page filters by the kind of data you have, and the learning path shows a summary and reading time for each lesson.
    • Reading settings for guides and lessons, a high-contrast option, and smoother page changes.
  4. Data labeling, drawings and a plan you can print

    • A data labeling module: three lessons, an interactive agreement example and a full guide to labeling data.
    • Drawings for every model type, picture cards for guides, and charts inside the guides.
    • Plans: a clickable step map, swiping between steps on phones, and a print-ready PDF.
    • Share your quiz result, and jump through the glossary by letter.
  5. Six new guides and the first starter kit

  6. A quiz, and plans that teach

    • A machine learning quiz at three levels, and “Check what you learned” questions at the end of every guide.
    • Plan steps with detailed instructions and interactive examples.
  7. Which model do I need?

  8. A faster way to a plan

    • Describe your idea and get a plan straight away, then answer questions only if you want to sharpen it.
    • A guide to product recommendations, and “Run in Google Colab” buttons on guides.
  9. Sales forecasting

  10. The new Hello Model

    • A fresh design, plain-English explanations of the jargon, saved plans in My plans, and a workspace for every plan.
